Chicken Stew

One – two pounds Chicken thighs or breast skinless and boneless
1 package of mini baby carrots
1 rutabaga large peeled and chopped
3 turnips peeled chopped
1 Med chopped onion
4 potatoes peeled and chopped
2-3 TBS chicken soup base ( Costco has a nice Chicken or Beef soup base on the spice isle)
2 TBS basil
1 TBS rosemary
1-2 bay leaves
1 TBS Garlic granulated
Garlic salt to taste
Seasoned pepper
1 can Italian green beans
Thickener, use left over mashed potatoes, or corn starch

Brown meat seasoned with garlic and pepper

In Dutch oven pot, add onion chopped, rosemary, basil, granulated garlic, and all vegetables, soup base with 2-3 cups water.

Bring to a slow boil cover and simmer.
Taste. If needed add salt or more soup base to taste.

Cut meat into chunks
Add meat to stew

Cook 30-40 minutes untill all are tender

Cook to your liken ….yummy
