Miraculous Healing in Spain
Baby Myriam's parents and her pastor, Rev. Ferran Jove, rejoice in God's healing touch.
The following testimony of a miracle comes from Ferran Jove, Open Bible field director in Spain and pastor of the Open Bible church in Lerida.
About two months ago a beautiful little girl was born to one of the ladies in the church and was named Myriam. When the child was eight days old, we presented her to the Lord. When I was praying for her to bless her, her arms lifted up and she jumped in my hands. Although she didn't make a sound, I could understand that she had received [a blessing of] the Holy Spirit. There is something very special about this little girl. I just guarded this in my heart.
About two weeks later, the parents of this little girl
issueda very sad announcement. They said that after several medical tests
that newborns go through,
the analysis detected that she was born with a type of cancer in the pancreas
and
lungs; it was terminal. She would also undergo other tests to make sure
this was a proper diagnosis and to see if the further tests would come
up positive.
A group of intercessors at the church started immediately to pray for Myriam and in the middle of the next Sunday morning service, the Lord showed me that we should pray for her and anoint her with oil. I called the parents forward to the altar; we anointed little Myriam and prayed for the Lord to heal her.
The next week Myriam was to be taken to Barcelona to be subjected to further testing even though she was only one month old. Before going to Barcelona and after we prayed, there was another analysis. This time — and all the glory be to God — the result was negative. The doctors were very surprised and tested her again and again and all the tests came out negative.
After doing the final analysis, the doctors determined that little Myriam was healed. She would not have to go to Barcelona and she would not have to get any treatment. They told the parents just to take her to the pediatrician on a normal schedule because she is a very healthy little girl.
God is still doing miracles in our times. Thank you, God, for your wonderful and great love for all of us. And thank you for little Myriam! While we live, may we not cease to tell of His wonders.
