I couldn't begin to count the times I've preached my favorite passage from the Bible. That's John 3:16: "For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life." Christ came to save the world. Everyone in the world. That means me, and that means you. The Bible also tells us that "While we were still sinners, Christ died for us" (Romans 5:8). If you're a sinner, then Christ died for you. And you know what? The Bible tells us in Romans 3:23 that we are all sinners... If you don't know God . . . if you've never surrendered
your life to Jesus Christ . . . won't you please do it now? It's such
an easy thing to do . . . but it has such tremendous significance, not
only now, but for all eternity. All you have to do is pray a simple prayer
like this one, "Heavenly Father. Thank you so much for the gift of your Son. Thank you for loving me so much that you sent Him to die in my place. Father, I accept the sacrifice He made on my behalf. In His name, I turn away from my sins, and I ask you to accept me into your family. I surrender my life to Jesus. I accept Him as my Lord and my Savior. Wash me clean, by His blood and in His name. For it is in His name I pray . . . the name of the Lord Jesus Christ. Amen." Christian Motorcyclists Association |
